Y Plus C Team Services began in 1999 as YTC AKI Design, a project-management outfit delivering construction management work. Over time it grew into a full general renovation contractor based in Petaling Jaya. It is now CIDB-registered and coordinates renovation and construction work across Kuala Lumpur and Selangor with specialist subcontractors.

How does a quotation actually begin?
For anything beyond a very small job, a fair renovation quote generally can't be finalised sight-unseen — expect a site visit to come up early in the conversation, once the basics (project type, area, photos) are shared. That's normal for this trade, not specific to this contractor — we haven't been given their exact step-by-step process to confirm timing.
What makes one quote higher than another for the "same" job?
Mainly three things: the size of the area, the condition of what's already there (a straightforward repaint costs less than one with wall repairs first), and the materials or fittings chosen. Two "kitchen renovations" can price very differently for these reasons alone.
What should I have ready before asking for a quote?
